I find it incredibly fascinating how the universe orchestrates our lives in ways we often cannot comprehend. It’s so crazy how we can encounter people in the most unexpected circumstances, and yet there seems to be an underlying reason for these connections. Each interaction can serve as a stepping stone on our journey, offering us insights, lessons, or even a chance to reflect on our own experiences....and this is exactly what unfolded with my guest for episode 15 of the podcast. I am thrilled to introduce you to Ryan Sweda—a remarkable individual who embodies the essence of hard work, dedication, and the relentless pursuit of personal evolution in the realms of healing and growth. We first crossed paths on social media and decided to meet for coffee. I expected a brief convo, but what started as a casual meeting quickly turned into a SUPER deep discussion...and at that point I knew I had to have him on Behind The Filter!
In this episode, we touched upon Ryan's journey, particularly his experiences surrounding a difficult divorce. He openly shared how he faced his inner demons and the challenges that arose during that tumultuous period. What’s truly inspiring is how he recognized the need for change and embarked on a path of self-improvement. Ryan's openness about his experiences serves as a powerful reminder that healing is not a linear process; it often involves trial and error, and seeking help in multiple ways can be beneficial. I was so captivated by Ryan's story and the depth of our conversation that I’ve decided to invite him back for future episodes. In part one of our discussion, we chat about his upbringing and the pivotal moments that shaped his journey toward creating a life that is not only beautiful but also filled with purpose and continuous seeking. If you are on the lookout for a male perspective on healing, especially in the context of recovering from a divorce, you won’t want to miss this!
