I first stumbled upon FrancesMary on social media when I launched this very podcast, and honestly, she's been at the top of my "must-chat-with" list ever since. Why? Because her mission is SO needed. Let's be real, navigating the friendship scene as adults can be… well, a little awkward sometimes, right? Whether you've moved, changed life stages, or just feel like expanding your awesome circle, making genuine connections can feel like a quest.
And that's where FrancesMary swoops in like a friendship superhero! Back in 2021, she embarked on her own Indy adventure, moving here with her hubby. But being in a new city with no familiar faces and working remotely? Cue the crickets. Instead of letting the loneliness settle in, FrancesMary decided to CREATE her own fun! It all started with weekly watch parties – a brilliant excuse for women to gather and bond over some screen time. And just like that, BFF Indy was born – a fantastic group dedicated to hosting events and creating opportunities for those craving real, authentic friendships.
In its first year, BFF Indy exploded into a powerhouse community of over 20,000 members who are actively living their best friend-filled lives thanks to the amazing world FrancesMary built.
